I’m not adding my favorite TED presentations in any order (and I have a lot more to add as I get time. If you’re in a hurry by all means head over to TED and start watching them for yourself). But this simple 4 minute presentation by Kamal Meattle presented at the 2009 conference on 3 plants that can clean up the air in our homes and offices is such a refreshing dose of positive news, I had to post it immediately.

Essentially, after being told that the polluted air of Delhi was killing him, Kamal Meattle discovered three common houseplants that actually clean the air of toxins and pollutants as well as generating fresh oxygen from our carbon dioxide. And all of them are easy care, especially Mother-in-Laws tongue so no green thumb required.

This puts a whole new interpretation to going green!
