Not joking, not kidding, not a scam.
The Secrets of Success in 8 Words
Richard St. John’s marketing company, the St. John Group, with clients like Nortel and BlackBerry/Research in Motion is a major success and so is he. But he wanted to know why him? So he spent more than a decade interviewing 500 people he defines as successful to find out the secrets of success. The resulting book, Spike’s Guide to Success: Stupid, Ugly, Unlucky and RICH, has spawned a new avenue of success for St. John. His newest book is 8 to Be Great: The 8 Traits that Lead to Great Success. While the presentation is a little longer than 3 minutes total, it’ll go by too quickly. Every entrepreneur, business person and human being should listen to this one.
Glad you liked my little talk! If you’re interested, there’s more on the 8 Success Principles at RichardStJohn.com. I like your tag-line “Using humor and passion to teach people how to prosper in the new economy.” Guess that’s what I do, too. All the best. Richard
Thanks for this link. I took some notes into my private wiki for later reflection.
Question for you, Mrs. Cooper: How would you categorize this blog?
Wow! You have no idea what your question started. I’ve been wrestling with your question since it was posted. This wasn’t intended to be a “blog” per se. It was my business site and communication site for my students and clients, however, I found myself drawn to that tagline “helping people prosper in the new economy.” And then I found Chris Gillebeau’s The Art of Non-Conformity blog and I’ve found my mission. Please check back around June 1st for the NEW site!
